-1632-1723 - Anton van Leeuwenhoek of Holland was the first to see bacteria, yeast plants, in water, via a microscope. Arguable the start
of what is today called “Western Medicine.”

-206 BC – 220 AD - Discussion of Cold Induced Disorders and Miscellaneous Diseases was written by Zhang-Zhong-Jing, associated the condition with a particular treatment to resolve a disorder.

-200 BC - The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic (Huang di nei jing) was written, this book contained the basic theory of acupuncture.

-168 B.C. – the book Formulas of Fifty Two Ailments was written. "Arguable the start of what is today called “Alternative Medicine.”
